As a long suffering Mets fan, I found this strangely uplifting. I think this is the year they finally put it all togeth…oh who am I kidding. The only playoffs the Mets will sniff this year is by flipping on their TV.

It’s amazing to me that a team with a brand spanking new megabucks park won’t spend (smart) money on a legit #2 or #3 starting pitcher, but will spend money on upgrading the menu. Does anyone even watch the game anymore when they go? The Mets have put themselves in the position where they have a legitimate chance to win 1 out of every 5 (Santana), so the food will have to carry the other 4 games, I guess. Oh well…at least it’s good to know some things never change.

Also, you guys are great. Keep ‘em coming. I check for updates daily. One suggestion for you: invest in body condoms. I’ve never seen a video involving interviews where you’re not being groped / pawed.

The funniest part about it is that you could be *anywhere* involving drinking, and pretty much the same scene would have played out. Being married myself, I know the formula:

Married Alcohol = Temporarily Single
